Your Clothes Have Stories. Let's Tell Them together.

I'm a fine artist and repair scholar who sees in every stitch a chance to restore and create something beautiful.

about me

Repairing a garment is a creative and thoughtful act. As both an artist and a researcher, I see mending as a collaborative process between you, your garment and its history, and I. It’s about more than just fixing’ the damage—it's about honoring the life your clothes have lived and giving them a new beginning.

Services

ARTFUL MENDING

This is where I turn flaws into features. I use beautiful, visible techniques like sashiko and embroidery to celebrate the life of your garment and make it more unique, like you.

MATCHING MENDING

Whether it's a small tear or a large hole I can make the repair nearly invisible—matching materials, colors, and processes.

VINTAGE AND HEIRLOOM REHAB

I restore vintage, designer, and sentimental pieces with the utmost care. My goal is to preserve their history and value, ensuring their story can continue to be told.

how it works

how it works

  • The initial consultation has a non-refundable cost of $20 that will act as a deposit if we schedule the mend—I will provide an estimated cost before any work begins. Final pricing is determined by the total time spent on the project.

During the consultation, we'll discuss your garment's story, needs, and what you hope to achieve. This is where we lay the groundwork for our creative collaboration.

  • Based on our conversation, I'll propose a bespoke mending plan, outlining the techniques and artistic vision for your piece.

  • I will meticulously work on your garment, transforming it with skilled hands. I can also document the process to share with you.

  • Your garment isn’t just fixed—it comes back stronger and full of character, ready to join you on new memories and bold adventures.

  • Every sign of wear and tear is as unique as your garment and the body it encases. This is why my mends are bespoke to the garment’s needs. Because mending is a skill that takes time, I have a flat rate of $50 per hour charged in increments of 15”.

I believe in transparent and fair pricing. You will receive a detailed breakdown of the time spent and the work performed, ensuring you understand the value of my craft.
